During an official visit to Russia, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held a significant meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, where Putin stated that Russia is ready to provide all possible support in the interests of Iran and Middle Eastern countries; according to international media reports, Araghchi delivered a message from Iran’s Supreme Leader to Putin during the meeting, and Putin აღნიშნა that Iran is currently going through a “difficult period” but expressed hope that the Iranian people will successfully overcome the situation and that peace will ultimately be established; he also indicated that he, along with Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and other senior officials, may soon participate in discussions aimed at ending the ongoing conflict between the United States and Iran, while Russia further stated that it has maintained regular communication with Iran since the beginning of the conflict and remains committed to seeking a political and diplomatic resolution to the crisis.
