The source said that Iran has presented highly reasonable initiatives and proposals in the negotiations, and now it is time for the United States to view the matters realistically; Iran’s semi-official Tasnim News Agency, citing a reliable source, reported that “the ball is now in America’s court” and that “Iran is in no hurry”; the source further alleged that, as in warfare, the United States is also miscalculating in negotiations and warned that “until the U.S. agrees to a reasonable deal, there will be no change in the situation in the Strait of Hormuz”; the source added that Iran has “no rush” for the talks and that no specific date or venue has yet been finalized for the next round; according to Tasnim News Agency, the Iran–U.S. peace talks in Islamabad ended without any agreement due to excessive demands from the American side, which prevented both parties from reaching a common framework; Tasnim’s correspondent in Islamabad stated that the unreasonable demands and ambitions of the U.S. delegation hindered any compromise; despite lengthy discussions, Tehran did not sign any agreement, and during the 21-hour intensive negotiations, the Iranian delegation remained firm in defending the fundamental rights of its people, with Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, and Ali Bagheri, along with members of the expert committee, safeguarding Iran’s interests in political, military, and peaceful nuclear technology sectors while resisting what they described as unjust demands from the United States.
